I always look forward to a wedding in Rathsallagh House in Co Wicklow. Maybe I’ve been lucky but I always seem to get good shots there. Indoors or outside it doesn’t matter whether it’s candid or formal pictures, the place presents no end of opportunities. Elizabeth and Jonathan had their wedding ceremony in nearby Dunlavin Church; that day all of us looked nervously at the sky but the rain that threatened happily never materialised. After the church it was back to Rathsallagh where we got the ‘formal’ pictures out of the way in about 10 minutes or so.   This enabled me to get candid, natural shots of the guests mingling in the garden. All told: a great couple, great location and a great day.
